It tested 14 new portable models and all worked well.
Best was the Snooper Syrius UK & Ireland at £286, second Tom Tom’s Go 510, £269 and third the Garmin Nuvi £190.
Portable sat-nav sales are five times up on 2005 and today 4 million drivers use them. Which? Said: “They no longer deserve a bad press”
