Britain's most lucrative motorway speed camera netted a staggering £1.2million in just seven months, it has emerged.
Over 20,000 motorists were caught by the temporary Gatso at 40mph roadworks on the M5 near Bristol - costing them 61,000 penalty points and £1,222.980 in fines.
